The National Sports Industry Research Base of the General Administration of Sport of China was established in January 2018. It is one of the first 16 national sports industry research bases in China. The research directions of the bases includes sports leisure and health industry, sports big data analysis, and sports engineering.

The director of the research base is Prof. ZHOU Lijun.
